History
The Arc Shield is a prototype shield made of Vibranium with an embedded Arc Reactor that Tony Stark was working on before the Civil War between him and Steve Rogers engulfed the planet. It was found by Steve at one of Tony's destroyed labs following the end of the war, and became his primary weapon as the Civil Warrior.[1]
Properties
The Arc Reactor embedded in the Arc Shield functions as a cannon, being capable of shooting powerful repulsor blasts. The magnetic attachments in the Arc Shield's inside enables it to return to its wielder, Steve Rogers, through the use of the Civil Warrior Armor, which also features a magnetic attachment mechanism in its back.[1]
