This reality diverged from Earth-199999 in 1896, when two Wakandans Tafari and Kuda retrieved the Vibranium Axe that was stolen from them and returned it to their land, preventing it from being found by Killmonger in 2016, as well as starting a chain reaction that would lead to T'Challa opening Wakanda to the rest of the world.

500 years later in the distant future, Earth was invaded by the Horde, leading to all of the world's countries to try and defend it, which failed, due to Wakanda, which was crucial in stopping the attack, failing to help the rest of the world, leading to it being attacked as well. Very few of its residents survived the attack, which included the future Queen of Wakanda, who traveled back into the past to find the source of the chain. Upon ending up in the 1896, she told Tafari and Kuda to return the axe where it was taken from so the events leading to Wakanda's opening to the world can unfold and the planet can be saved from the Horde's attack. The future branch presumably got erased due to said events, as predicted by the Queen of Wakanda.
