History
Sol,[citation needed] or the Solar System, is a star system within the Milky Way galaxy. The Solar System centered around Sol/the Sun, houses nine planets (including Mercury, Venus, Earth, Counter-Earth, Mars/Arakko, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune) and their respective moons, as well as dwarf planets (Ceres and Pluto), two asteroid belts (the Kuiper Belt and the Main Belt, formed from the destroyed planet Tiamat/Phaeton), and other small bodies such as asteroids, comets, meteoroids, and interplanetary dust. The otherdimensional world of Polemachus is also located in the Sol system, occupying the same space as Earth.
The system itself was conscious as its astronomical bodies housed body parts of a still-living Celestial, aptly named the System. It remained dormant until the arrival of Luke Cage/Power Man from an alternate future and reassembled itself to combat him. Power Man ended up killing the System and absorb its body, becoming a Celestial himself and a protector of the Sol System.[3]Points of Interest
