The Alley, also known as the Morlock Tunnels, were series of abandoned military tunnels used by the Morlocks to live and travel undetected underneath New York City.[4]
History
These tunnels connect to the New York City sewer system in multiple places as well as New Jersey, Connecticut, and Upstate New York.[2][5][6]
The Morlocks also used the Alley to escape from the Mutant Massacre caused by the Marauders.[citation needed]
Later, those same Marauders came to establish themselves in those tunnels.[7]
Following the fall of Krakoa, X-Men used the tunnels as a base.[8]
