Angkhor was the jungle-girdled capital city of Kambuja, and was ruled by a god-king of the Scarlet Circle:[1][2] Pra-Eun.[3] Angkhor was home of the sacred elephant.[2]
Residents
- Pra-Eun - Lord of the Scarlet Circle, Sacred God-King of Angkhor,[3] sorcerer[4]
Notes
- Angkhor was created in "The Witch of the Mists"[1] (1972), by L. Sprague de Camp and Lin Carter, adapted in King Conan #1 (March, 1980), though it is presumably inspired by and/or is the early settlement of Angkhor, the archaeological site of the capital of the Khmer Empire, in Cambodia.
