- In the series Conan the Barbarian: The Usurper, Tarantia is mixed-up with Belverus, capital city of Nemedia (despite the maps of the recaps placing and spelling both cities correctly): It is alternatively stated that the capital city of Aquilonia is named Tarantia,[3] but also "Tartantia",[3] "Belverus",[4][1] or "Belverous".[1]
